Emergency Landing at Sofia Airport over False Smoke Alarm

Sofia, June 4 (BTA) - A Turkish Airlines aircraft, flying from
Istanbul to Prague, had to undertake an emergency landing at
Sofia Airport on Wednesday evening because of a false smoke
alarm in the cockpit, the Airport reported.

The aircraft was inspected after 117 passengers were taken off.
The crew said that a smoke sensor in the cockpit was activated,
however, it turned out it was a false alarm. The airplane took
off at 20:20 and continued to its destination.
