site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 1,235 New Cases, 44 Deaths in Past 24 Hours

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,067,648 after 10,207 tests identified 1,235 new infections on Saturday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/.  

The active cases are 244,500. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 5,402, including 577 in intensive care. Of the 160 hospital admissions, 87.5 per cent were not vaccinated.

Another 3,716 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 788,106.

Forty-four fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 35 042.

With 838 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,274,368 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
