site.btaGERB-UDF to Approach Constitutional Court over Energy Regulator, Bulgarian Development Bank Reforms

Members of the GERB-UDF parliamentary group will approach the Constitutional Court to come up with an interpretative ruling on “two major mistakes” of the Government, GERB-UDF MP Branimir Balachev said here on Monday, presenting a coalition's position together with two colleagues of his - Pavel Hristov and Slavena Tocheva.

In Balachev’s words, GERB-UDF will approach the Constitutional Court over the reforms in the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission and the transfer of authority over the Bulgarian Development Bank to the Innovation and Growth Ministry which, according to GERB-UDF, is unconstitutional.

The GERB-UDF parliamentary group has already signed a petition to approach the Constitutional Court, which will most likely happen next week, the GERB-UDF MP clarified.
