site.btaAquaculture Producers to Receive Lv 1 Mln under De Minimis Scheme

A total of 1 million leva of the 2022 budget are envisaged to support aquaculture producers under the de minimis scheme, Agriculture Deputy Ministers Stefan Burdzhev and Atanas Dobrev stated at a meeting with representatives of the Fisheries sector, the Agriculture Ministry said in a press release here on Friday.

The discussion focused on the possibilities to support the Fisheries sector, which is in a difficult situation.

The meeting also discussed the outsourcing of management of fish stocks in state-owned reservoirs and the option for making changes to the regulatory framework. Furthermore, the participants raised the issue of enhancing control effectiveness and reducing the informal sector of Fisheries.
