Bulgarian Foreign Minister Teodora Genchovska is taking part in a NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Brussels on April 6-7.
The top diplomats of the NATO member countries are discussing the need to step up support for Ukraine, ways to address the Russian invasion, and the development of NATO's next Strategic Concept as the bloc prepares for a summit meeting in Madrid on June 29-30. The Allies will also consider additional support for their vulnerable partners Georgia, Moldova, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to preliminary information, the meeting involves the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Georgia, Sweden and Finland, and representatives of NATO's Asia-Pacific partners Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea and Japan, who will attend a discussion on global security challenges.
