site.btaBulgarian Rhythmic Gymnast Ensemble Wins All-Around Title at FIG World Cup 2022 in Sofia

The Bulgarian ensemble won the all-around title at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Sofia’s Arena Armeec.

In their first official competition Vaya Draganova, Elena Georgieva, Petya Borisova, Zhenina Trashlieva, Bilyana Vezirska and Sofia Ivanova performed very well with three ribbons and two balls to the applause of the audience and received a score of 28.950 points. They had some minor inaccuracies.

Yesterday the Bulgarians got 24.200 points on five hoops, after making many mistakes. The alumni of Vesela Dimitrova garnered 53.150 points from the two performances and took the gold medals.

All the other ensembles made a lot of mistakes today. Greece ranked second with 52.650 points (24.700 and 27.950), and France is in third place with 50.900 points (26.500 and 24.400).

Tomorrow the World Cup ends with the finals of the women's individual and group competitions.
