site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 321 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 5.7%

A total of 321 new COVID-19 cases were identified by 5,633 tests on Saturday, show data posted on coronavirus.bg.

A total of 107 people have recovered from the disease. The active cases number 169,624. 

Seven people have died of COVID-19, of whom 85.7 per cent were unvaccinated. The death toll adds up to 36,692. 

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 stands at 1,266, of whom 141 are in intensive care. There were 28 new hospital admissions, of whom 89 per cent are unvaccinated. 

A total of 365 vaccine doses were administered, bringing the number of doses to 4,362,095. Thus, 2,052,205 people have completed their vaccination cycle, and 731,204 have received a booster jab.
