site.btaCouncil of Ministers Okays Additional Expenditure under Humanitarian Programme for Ukrainian Refugees

The Council of Ministers approved the provision of assistance to applicants under the Humanitarian Aid Programme for people seeking protection from the war in Ukraine. The Government also approved additional expenditure for the 2022 Ministry of Tourism budget to pre-finance expenditure under the programme.

The sixth payment covering the 24 February 2022 - 31 May 2022 period covers 115,341 verified nights of accommodation and meals worth BGN 4,613,640, VAT excluded, or BGN 5,010,664, VAT included.

The acts adopted to approve aid to applicants cover the entire duration of the Programme: from 24 February 2022 to 31 May 2022 according to the applications from interested parties submitted in the three reporting periods.
