site.btaBulgaria Does Not Support Czech EU Presidency’s Proposal for Russian Visa Ban

Bulgaria supports the Agreement between the European Community and the Russian Federation on the Facilitation of the Issuance of Visas to the Citizens of the EU and the Russian Federation, Deputy Foreign Minister Kostadin Kodzhabashev told a briefing on Thursday. He was taking a question about the Czech EU Council Presidency’s proposal to suspend the Agreement. 

The proposal will be discussed at an international forum on Ukraine to be held in Prague in late August with the participation of foreign ministers.

On the topic of Russian aggression, the focus is expected to be on food and energy security, Kodzhabashev said.
