site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 852 New Cases Confirmed, Test Positivity Rate at 11.7%

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,249,052 after 7,282 tests identified 852 new infections on Monday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate for the day was 11.7%.

The active cases are 10,076. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 614, including 31 in intensive care. Of the 134 new hospital admissions on Monday, 80% were not vaccinated. Another 2,191 COVID-19 patients recovered on Monday, bringing the total to 1,201,321. Nine fatalities were reported, and the death toll stands at 37,655.

With 855 new inoculations in 24 hours, 4,531,205 vaccine doses have been administered so far. A total of 2,070,444 people have received two doses, 873,231 a booster and 67,043 a second booster.
