The incident in Poland which led to a loss of human lives is unacceptable, it poses a risk of destabilization of the entire region and of a spillover of Russia's war against Ukraine, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said in a position on the explosion in Poland near the Ukrainian border.
 
It is necessary to immediately clarify this dangerous incident and to take adequate measures. Every day of this war destroys the future of Europe and the world, Radev said as quoted by his press secretariat.

The President also said that maintaining modern defence capabilities and the Alliance's unity are of key importance to preserving peace.
