The Socialist party in Parliament welcomes political leaders' cautious reactions to the Tuesday missile blast in Poland and reiterated its call for a ceasefire. "The missile incident in Poland is another reason for us to insist on a ceasefire and for the start of diplomatic talks to establish peace," Bulgarian Socialist Party leader Korneliya Ninova told reporters in Parliament where she was approached to comment the matter.

She welcomed what she called "the cautious reaction of all leaders".

"But we continue to believe that providing arms to any of the warring parties fuels the conflict," Ninova said.

She also said: "There is no risk for Bulgaria from what has been happening so far. We see the reactions, even Poland has announced that it will probably not activate Article 4 of the NATO treaty, which means that there won't even be consultations  because it is assessed as a mistake, as an incident, not as a direct attack against a NATO member state".
