site.btaBulgarian Rise: Bulgaria Should Participate in NATO Consultations in Search for Common Solution

Bulgaria should participate in the consultations of NATO member states in the search for a common solution, Stefan Yanev, leader of the Bulgarian Rise party in Parliament and former Defence Minister, told journalists in parliament when he was asked to comment the Tuesday missile blast in Poland.

Yanev stated that before talking about the risks, the situation should be "realistically assessed".

He argued that a categorical assessment can be given by the investigating authorities in Poland.

The Bulgarian Rise leader explained that if it is assumed that Poland was attacked, the established procedures are to be triggered. "There is currently a meeting at the NATO headquarters, the ambassadors are meeting, and they will discuss this issue," he added.
