site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 186 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 5.1%

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,288,586, after 3,637 tests identified 186 new infections on Thursday, 62.90% of which were of unvaccinated persons, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 5.1%

The active cases are 4,353. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 348, including 37 in intensive care. Of the 49 new hospital admissions, 81.63% were not vaccinated.

Another 329 COVID patients recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing total recoveries to 1,246,177.

Two fatalities were reported (both unvaccinated), bringing the death toll to 38,056.

With 567 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,599,147 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
