site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 211 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 6%

A total of 211 new COVID-19 cases were identified by 3,447 tests across Bulgaria on Wednesday, show data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate stands at 6%. The active cases are 4,577.

Four patients with a COVID-19 infection have died during the day. 

A total of 377 patients were hospitalized, of whom 35 in intensive care. The new hospital admissions for the day added up to 47. 

A total of 220 people have recovered from the infection, bringing the total number of recoveries since the pandemic started to 1,247,045. 

A total of 397 COVID-19 vaccines were administered, bringing the total number of doses since the start of the vaccination campaign to 4,600,622.
