site.btaProject Encourages Civic Activism among Young Ukrainian Refugees in Bulgaria

A project offers Ukrainian people under temporary protection in Bulgaria a supportive environment and a platform for direct participation in public life. The project is implemented by the Horizonti association with financial support from Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway under the Active Citizens Fund which is supported by the EEA Financial Mechanism.

It is titled Virtual Hyde Park: the Voice of Youth and targets young Ukrainians in Bulgaria, the leader of the Horizonti project, Evgenia Dzhordzheva told the press on Friday as she presented the project. It aims to help them socialize and integrate into the Bulgarian society, will offer them a platform for share their problems and help solve them by direct contact with the local authorities.

The project will last six months until late March 2023.
