site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 46 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 6.01% 

A total of 46 new COVID-19 cases were identified by 765 tests on Sunday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 6.01%.

There were a total of six hospitalizations during the day and 278 during the past week. 

No fatalities of COVID-19 positive patients were reported during the day.

A total of 1,290,186 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed since the pandemic started, of which 1,248,145 have recovered and 38,082 have died. 

Just two vaccine doses were administered on Sunday and 1,666 doses were administered during the past week. The total number of vaccine doses administered so far adds up to 4,601,290. A total of 2,074,608 people have completed their vaccination cycle, while 937,787 have received a booster jab.
