site.btaSocialists Want PM to Explain Why Defence Minister Is in Kyiv

Rumen Gechev MP of BSP for Bulgaria on Tuesday urged caretaker Prime Minister Galab Donev to come to the National Assembly to explain why Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov is in Kyiv and what agenda he is pursuing there.

Gechev noted that a National Assembly resolution on arms supplies to Ukraine has not been promulgated yet. "Beasides, we have asked the President's Office in writing to veto the resolution," the Socialist MP said.

"The disturbing part is that we learned about the visit from Ukrainian media, where it was translated [from Bulgarian], before it was reported in Bulgarian media," Gechev noted.
