site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 180 Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 8%

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,291,147, after 2,240 tests identified 180 new infections on Friday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 8%.

One COVID-19 patient has died and the death toll now stands at 38,090.

A total of 211 people have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 1,249,335. 

The active cases are 3,722. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 336, including 35 in intensive care. Of the 47 new hospital admissions, 74.47% were not vaccinated.

With 208 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,602,627 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
