The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,291,288, after 679 tests identified 61 new infections on Sunday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 8.98%.

One COVID-19 patient has died and the death toll now stands at 38,091.

A total of 26 people have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 1,249,369.

The active cases are 3,828. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 339, including 35 in intensive care. Of the 6 new hospital admissions, 50% were not vaccinated.

With 1 new inoculation over the last 24 hours, 4,602,636 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
