site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 74 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 5.96%

A total of 74 new COVID-19 cases were identified by 1,242 tests on Monday. The test positivity rate stands at 5.96%, show data posted on www.coronavirus.bg. 

No fatalities were reported among people infected with the coronavirus. 

The eleven hospital admissions on Monday brought the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients to 368, of whom 34 are in intensive care. 

A total of 39 people have recovered from the disease, bringing the number of COVID-19 recoveries since the pandemic started to 1,250,244. 

The number of active COVID-19 cases as of Monday stands at 3,872. 

Only two vaccine doses were administered on Monday, bringing the total number of doses administered since the vaccination campaign's start to 4,603,031.

A total of 38,108 people with COVID-19 infections have died since the start of the pandemic. The total number of confirmed infections so far stands at 1,292,224.
