site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 191 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 4.9%

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,292,969, after 3,866 tests identified 191 new infections on Thursday, 63.87% of which were of unvaccinated persons, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 4.94%.

The active cases are 3,940. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 405, including 35 in intensive care. Of the 58 new hospital admissions, 63.79% were not vaccinated.

Another 175 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,250,911.

Two fatalities were reported, and the death toll now adds up to 38,118.

With 238 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,603,610 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
