site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 93 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 2.63% 

A total of 3,685 tests identified 129 new COVID-19 infections on Thursday, January 19, according to data posted on coronavirus.bg. The test positivity rate for the day was 2.63%, shows data posted on www.coronavirus.bg.

Three patients with a confirmed COVID-19 infection have died. 

A total of 338 people are hospitalized, of whom 50 in intensive care units. The new hospital admissions of COVID-19 patients stood at 27. 

A total of 194 people have recovered from the infection on Thursday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,253,199. 

There were 3,341 active COVID-19 cases reported for the day. 

There were 219 vaccine doses against COVID-19 administered on Thursday, bringing the total number of inoculations since the pandemic's start to 4,605,936.  

A total of 38,157 people with COVID-19 infections have died out of the total of 1,294,697 confirmed cases since the pandemic started.
