site.btaParliament to Hold Extraordinary Sitting on January 24

The National Assembly will hold an extraordinary sitting on 24 January 2023 at 10.00. 

The agenda of the sitting includes a bill on the formal withdrawal from the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Investment Bank and its Statute and the Agreement on the Organisation and Operation of the International Bank for Economic Cooperation, a second vote on amendments to the Bulgarian Sign Language Act and a hearing of the caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov in connection with another case of physical assault against Bulgarians and Bulgarian citizens in the Republic of North Macedonia.

Parliament will also debate on a question to the caretaker Minister of Environment and Water, Rositsa Blagova, on the removal of 9,000 tonnes of illegal waste in the city of Pleven, North Central Bulgaria. Question Time is on the agenda as well.
