We have done everything necessary to fulfil the third mandate. We have outlined four important tasks for a future regular government and parliament, BSP for Bulgaria leader Korneliya Ninova told President Rumen Radev on Tuesday before returning the unfulfilled third and final exploratory mandate to form a government. She added that her party had invited all parliamentary forces for talks, but it had become clear that no agreement and majority could be reached to form a regular cabinet.
I would like to congratulate you on the efforts you have made to form a regular government in a very difficult political environment. I wish you success in the early parliamentary elections, the Head of State said.
After accepting the return of the unfulfilled third mandate from the representatives of the BSP for Bulgaria, Radev noted that he had invited the Central Election Commission (CEC) later in the day to give more information on their readiness to organise and conduct the next parliamentary elections. Based on this information, he said he will decide on the date of the elections.
