site.btaBulgaria's Gas Storage Facility Is 82% Full, Up from EU Average of 78%

Bulgaria's underground gas storage facility at Chiren, which is the country's only, is 82.19% full at the moment, up from an EU average of 77.81%, according to figures on the specialized platform Aggregated Gas Storage Inventory (AGSI) for January 22.

On November 1, the EU average gas storage inventory was 94.95% of capacity. It was 90.41% in Bulgaria.

No amounts of gas have been withdrawn from Chiren in January. Only Bulgaria, Sweden and Portugal used zero amount of their gas inventory in January.
