The Bulgarian delegation will be received by the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The visit to Athens is a continuation of the talks between Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and his Greek counterpart on December 20, 2021 in Sofia. The main purpose of the visit is to prepare a joint meeting of the governments of Bulgaria and Greece, which will be hosted by Bulgaria. It will be the fifth in a row and will take place in the coming months, depending on the progress of preparations.
