The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba met with the members of the Parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee. The talks in the National Assembly were attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria Vitaly Moskalenko.

Foreign Policy Committee Chair Ventsislava Lyubenova (Continue the Change) welcomed the Ukrainian guest to the Bulgarian Parliament. I assure you that everything that is happening in your country seriously and constantly concerns all of us here - the Bulgarian Parliament, the Bulgarian State, but most of all the Bulgarian society, said Lyubenova. This is not only because of the strong historical, cultural, religious ties between our peoples, not only because you are our neighbour and because hundreds of thousands of Bulgarians call Ukraine their home, not only because this gross violation of your security also affects that of Bulgaria, but also because of the unprovoked, undeserved and brutal aggression that was shown against a sovereign and independent Ukraine, against the peace and life of innocent Ukrainian citizens, she said. This shook the Bulgarian society just as much as it shook the whole of Europe and the world, Lyubenova commented at the beginning of the meeting, which was open to the media.

Earlier, Minister Kuleba met with National Assembly Chair Nikola Minchev.
