The Chair of the NATO Military Committee. Admiral Rob Bauer said that NATO is not pressuring any country into sending military aid to Ukraine. He was speaking at the Novo Selo firing range during military demonstrations.

Approached on the matter by the press, the admiral said that it is a sovereign decision for each country that is made by the government. Ukraine has said clearly what it wants and the aid it has requested is not only military, he added. All aid provided by the allies and countries outside the Alliance, is very important, he added.

Bulgarian Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov said that if a political decision is made to send military aid, it will be implemented in a way that will make sure the combat worthiness of the Bulgarian Armed Forces is not undermined. "We have to make sure Bulgaria does not have to has to ask for aid itself," he said.
