Bulgarian sumo wrestler Daniel Ivanov Aoiyama, Maegashira #11, led the score 6-0 on day 6 of the ongoing 2022 May Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo after beating Maegashira #15, Ichiyamamoto.

In the next Round 7 of the tournament Aoiyama is to meet Maegashira #12 Sadanoumi who currently is the wrestler with the second highest score after the Bulgarian.
