site.btaBulgarian Greco-Roman Wrestlers Win Six Gold Medals at Tirana Tournament

Bulgarian Greco-Roman wrestlers had a strong showing at the Muhamet Malo International Tournament in Tirana on May 12-15, winning six gold medals and placing second in the team competition, the Bulgarian Wrestling Federation said on Sunday.

They were coached by Emil Budinov.

The gold medalists are:

Aik Mnatsakanian (77 kg weight class), winner of the Mohamed Malo Best Wrestler Prize;

Stefan Gergiev (55 kg);

Nedyalko Petrov (60 kg);

Nikolay Vichev (67 kg);

David Dimitrov (77 kg);

Rosian Dermanski (82 kg).

Italy finished first and Albania placed third.
