site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 96 New Cases, 3.18% Test Positivity Rate

There were 96 new coronavirus cases in Bulgaria on Saturday after 3,021 tests, according to data published on the national platform coronavirus.bg on Monday. The test positivity rate is 3.18%.

There were 83,681 active cases, out of the 1,163,413 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Three fatalities were reported (all of whom unvaccinated), and the death toll now adds up to 37,093.

A total of 13 people, 5 of them unvaccinated, were admitted to hospital and the total number of COVID hospitalizations now stands at 511. Some 43 of the hospitalized patients were in intensive care wards.

A total of 57 people recovered in the past day, bringing the total up to 1,042,639.

The new vaccinations total 12, adding up to 4,395,129 vaccinations.
