site.btaGovernment Asks Constitutional Court to Interpret Provision Disenfranchising Prisoners, People under Guardianship

The Government approved a request to the Constitutional Court for interpretation of Article 42, paragraph 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria, which prohibits prisoners and people placed under guardianship from exercising their right to vote in parliamentary, presidential, and municipal elections.
