Ombudsman Diana Kovacheva sent a recommendation to outgoing Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and outgoing Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov, in which she insists that the state should compensate households in view of the application submitted by Bulgargaz to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission for an increase in the regulated price of gas from August 1, 2022.
