site.btaBulgarian Ship, Stranded by Conflict for 5 Months, Leaves Ukraine
After being stranded by the war for five months, the Bulgarian ship Rojen left the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk on Friday morning, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry said. The Ministry said that the departure of the bulk carrier followed tireless efforts of the Bulgarian authorities and their work with the Ukrainian side.
Contacts with the captain and crew of Rojen were maintained on a daily basis.
According to Ukrainian official sources, the Bulgarian ship is headed to the UK. Two more ships left Chornomorsk with it, carrying a total of 57,000 t of Ukrainian grain.
