Vice President Iliana Iotova will attend Saturday the celebrations on Mt Shipka commemorating 145 years since the Battle of Shipka Pass, the President's press secretariat said on Friday. The Battle of Shipka was a decisive moment of the 1877-1878 Russo-Turkish War when 7,500 Bulgarian volunteers and Russian soldiers held the pass against a 30,000-strong Turkish army.
