Bulgarian athlete Kaloyana Nalbantova won the singles title at the U19 European Badminton Championships in the Serbian capital Belgrade.

The Bulgarian, ranked number 10, defeated the fifth-ranked Lisa Curtin of England in the final with 14:21, 21:17, 21:16 in 51 minutes.

Nalbantova is the European U-17 champion from last year and now she has added the U-19 girls title to her collection.
