Bulgaria men's volleyball team took a second loss at the 2022 FIVB Volleyball World Championship on Sunday. The Bulgarian side was defeated by the United States 0-3 (20-25, 23-25, 24-26) in Pool C.

Tsvetan Sokolov delivered a match-high 15 points for Bulgaria. Torey DeFalco (USA) was the second-best scorer in the match with 13 points.

At the start of the tournament on Friday, Bulgaria lost 0-3 to home side and defending world champion Poland (12-25, 20-25, 20-25).

In its final match of the preliminary stage on Tuesday, the Bulgarian team will face Mexico.
