site.btaCitizens Protest against Possible New Contract with Gazprom, Demand Caretaker Energy Minister Resignation

A group of people gathered in front of the Government building in downtown Sofia Monday evening demanding the resignation of Energy Minister Rossen Hristov, as well as guarantees from the caretaker Government that natural gas deliveries by Gazprom will not be resumed, nor a new contract concluded with it. The protesters, organized by the anti-corruption association BOEC, also raised tents in front of the building’s main entrance.
