site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 748 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 14.5%

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,254,682, after 5,171 tests identified 748 new infections on Friday, 64.30% of which were not vaccinated, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 14.47%.

The active cases are 9,039. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 485, including 28 in intensive care. Out of the 78 new hospital admissions, 70.51% were unvaccinated.

Another 751 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,207,946.

Three fatalities were reported, two of them were unvaccinated.

With 1,308 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,541,845 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
