The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,254,951 after 1,843 tests identified 269 new infections on Thursday, 65.80% of which were of unvaccinated persons, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/.

The active cases are 9,296. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 482, including 28 in intensive care. Of the 11 new hospital admissions, 90.91% were not vaccinated.

Another 12 COVID-19 patients recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,207,958.

No fatalities were reported, and the death toll still remains at 37,697.

With 98 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,541,943 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
