President Rumen Radev Monday issued a decree convening the inaugural sitting of the 48th National Assembly on October 19.  The decree was issued in pursuance of Article 75 of the Constitution.  Seven formations are represented in the new Parliament

Hundreds of citizens gathered in front of the National Assembly's building on Thursday evening to express their support for the recently removed Parliament Chair Nikola Minchev and protest against his early dismissal with the votes of GERB, There Is Such a People, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and Vazrazhdane.
