Bulgaria had two governments in 2022, a regular one made up of the so-called quadruple coalition, headed by Kiril Petkov, and the current caretaker Cabinet, appointed by the President and headed by Galab Donev. Both cabinets had to face the COVID-19 pandemic’s economic consequences, high inflation and problems in the energy sector.
