site.btaBulgaria Opens Honorary Consulate in Republic of the Congo

The Council of Ministers adopted a decision to open a consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of the Congo, headed by an honorary (non-permanent) consular official, with headquarters in the city of Brazzaville and with a consular district covering the territory of the Republic of the Congo, and to appoint Joseph Christian Nyambi, a citizen of the Republic of the Congo, as an honorary consular official.

Mr. Nyambi works for a Belgian banking and educational organisation. He is a recognizable figure in diplomatic circles, having represented several Belgian humanitarian organizations and built up a wide network of contacts in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the diplomatic corps in Brazzaville.
