The timeframe for the remaining construction works on the Greece-Bulgaria has interconnector will be specified at a meeting with the contractor, Avax, on Wednesday, Bulgarian Energy Minister Rossen Hristov said Monday. He was speaking to the press during a visit to the Maritsa East mines.
The timeframe will be coordinated with the project company, ICGB.
The interconnector only has enough gas for trial runs and it is important for us to have commercial quantities, the Minister said.
He said that the certificate confirming the completion of work and another one confirming the commissionability of the project, are about to be taken out.
The Minister would not say how many offers have been received for delivery of LNG citing the confidentiality of the tender information.
