site.btaPresident Radev: Long-term Strategy for Economic Development Needed

A long-term, comprehensive strategy for the development of the Bulgarian economy is needed, based on a thorough expert analysis, which should go beyond the limited mandate of a given government, President Rumen Radev said Tuesday at a meeting at his administration building with caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds Management Atanas Pekanov and representatives of the Expert Council for Economic Analysis in Bulgaria, quoted by Radev's Press Secretariat. 

The concept for the creation of the Council was presented Tuesday at the Council of Ministers. An analysis of the dynamics of the Bulgarian manufacturing sector, an analysis of territorial inequalities, differences in the structure of local economies, the labour market, and demographic processes will be the focus of the body's work.
