Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has congratulated Aleksandar Vucic on his re-election as President of Serbia, Radev’s press secretariat said Monday. The trust received by the Serbian citizens is a big honour as well as a responsibility requiring state devotion amid the contemporary global challenges, the Bulgarian head of State says in his congratulatory address.

Radev expresses certainty that he and his Serbian counterpart will continue to work together on building upon the traditionally friendly and goodneighbourly relations between the two countries, on the regional cooperation and understanding in Southeastern Europe, as well as on the prosperity of the Bulgarian and the Serbian peoples. Radev also expresses support for Serbia’s EU perspective.
