site.btaTwo Border Checkpoints with Greece Reopen after Two-Year Pandemic Interruption
As of 6 am on Monday, the crossing of the joint border checkpoints with Ivaylovgrad - Kiprinos and Zlatograd - Termes was resumed. The crossing activity was stopped by the Greek side 2 years ago due to the complicated epidemic situation.
The requirements for entering Greece are the same as at other border crossings. All passengers over the age of 5 will be required to have a vaccination certificate valid for 270 days, a certificate of illness valid for 180 days, a negative result from a PCR test done 72 hours before the trip or a rapid antigen test done 24 hours before the trip.
The border control at the Zlatograd - Termes border checkpoint is carried out on Bulgarian territory, and at the Ivaylovgrad / Kiprinos border checkpoint - on Greek territory. Only cars and vans can pass through these two points.
