site.btaPM to Visit Romania
Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will visit Romania on April 29, the government information service said. In Bucharest Petkov will meet with Romanian counterpart Nicolae Ciuca and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
On the agenda will be advancing bilateral relations, regional cooperation, the implementation of infrastructure and energy projects which will boost connectivcity and security in the region including in the context of the war in Ukraine.
The Bulgarian delegation will include Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds and Finance Minister Assen Vassilev, Deputy Prime Minister for Climate Policy and Environment Minister Borislav Sandov, Defence Minister Dragomir Zakov, Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov and Deputy Transport Minister Vladimir Varbanov.
During the visit Sandov will familiarize his Romanian counterpart a project for the construction of a joint offshore wind park in the Black Sea. Investors from Denmark and Germany have shown interest in such a project, Sandov said on Thursday during a conference on low carbon transition in Bulgaria.
