site.btaQ2 Passengers at Croatian Seaports Increase 55% Y/Y

Nearly 8.5 million passengers travelled through Croatia's seaports in the second quarter of 2022. This is an increase of 55.7% year on year, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics reported.

Ferries and passenger ships carried 8.2 million passengers, an increase of 50.8%. An increase in the number of passengers was registered in all major ports, as well as in international traffic. In the second quarter of 2022, 32.5% more cars and 127. 7% more buses were loaded on ferries compared to the same quarter in 2021.

Of the total number of passengers in seaports, 255,000 were from cruise ships that docked in Dubrovnik, Split, and Zadar.
